My Habits is designed to keep the personal part of habit tracking on your iPhone. You do not need an account, and your habit names and history are stored locally.
Information stored on your device
The app stores your habits, completion history, display settings, subscription access state, and widget data in its local app and shared widget containers. This information is not uploaded to a My Habits account or server because My Habits does not operate an account service.
You can export your habits and history as a JSON file or delete all app data from Settings. Removing the app may also remove its local data, subject to the behavior of your device and backups.
Apple Health
If you connect a habit to Apple Health, the app asks for permission to read only the health categories you select. It uses those values to calculate progress and may cache daily totals in the local habit database. My Habits does not write to Apple Health.
Health values are not sent to PostHog, Sentry, RevenueCat, or used for advertising. Disconnecting a habit stops future syncing. Deleting cached habit history does not delete records from Apple Health.
Analytics and crash reports
Anonymous product analytics are enabled by default and can be disabled at any time under Settings → Share Anonymous Analytics. When enabled, My Habits sends limited events to PostHog, such as whether a habit was created, which chart or tracking mode was selected, or whether progress changed. These events do not include habit names, HealthKit values, or screen recordings.
The app uses Sentry for crash and error reports. Sentry is configured not to send default personal information, screenshots, view hierarchies, memory snapshots, or performance traces. Reports may include the app version, device and operating system information, an anonymous installation identifier, the failed operation, and technical error details.
Purchases
Apple processes App Store purchases. My Habits uses RevenueCat to check subscription and lifetime purchase status. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user identifier, product and transaction identifiers, entitlement status, purchase dates, and renewal or expiration information. My Habits does not receive your payment card details.
Website data
This website has no accounts, forms, advertising, or first-party analytics. It is hosted by Vercel, which may process standard request data such as your IP address, browser details, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs to deliver and protect the site.
Sharing and transfers
Data is shared only with Apple, PostHog, Sentry, RevenueCat, and Vercel for the purposes described above, or when required by law. These providers may process information in countries outside your own under their terms and privacy safeguards. My Habits does not sell personal data or share it for targeted advertising.
Your choices
You can disable analytics, disconnect Apple Health, export your data, or delete all app data from Settings. You can also change Health permissions in iOS Settings and manage purchases through your Apple account.
For access, deletion, or other privacy requests involving analytics or crash data, contact privacy@myhabits.xyz. Include any anonymous identifier you want us to investigate, if available.
Children
My Habits is not directed to children under 13, and the app does not knowingly collect names, email addresses, or account profiles from children.
Changes
This policy may change when the app, website, or service providers change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
